Rotary Camp Enterprise 2008 - April 10-12 2008
What is Rotary Camp Enterprise?
Rotary Camp Enterprise is an activity-packed, three-day workshop sponsored by the San Diego Rotary Club. Based on a program developed by the American Management Association, this all expenses paid, experience provides a select group of outstanding eleventh-grade students with a series of panels, presentations, and group discussions that present a broad view and an exploration of the free enterprise system. Since 1976, Rotary Camp Enterprise has offered students the opportunity to learn from some of San Diego's top business leaders in a fun and educational environment at Camp Cedar Glen in Julian.
When is Rotary Camp Enterprise 2008?
This year's camp is scheduled for Thursday, April 10th through Saturday, April 12th, 2008 and will take place at Camp Cedar Glenn just outside of Julian.
Why attend Rotary Camp Enterprise?
>> Learn about building your own business! For over 30 years, Rotary Camp Enterprise has given students a REAL chance to learn what business is like. Work closely as part of a team with other students and Rotarians to develop a business concept.
>> Get out of town! Enjoy 3 days in the mountains at Julian's Camp Cedar Glen with outdoor activities.

Students attending Rotary Camp Enterprise get to meet and interact with Rotarians from many different professions, including manufacturing, retail, law, medicine, education and banking, as well as service and nonprofit organizations. In addition, it is an opportunity to make new friends and forge new relationships with team-mates and camp attendees.

>> It is free to you! All expenses; housing, food and transportation to and from camp are all covered by the Rotary Club of San Diego.

Who attends Rotary Camp Enterprise?
High school Juniors who are interested in being future business leaders are selected to attend Rotary Camp Enterprise. Camp nominees from over 45 different public and private schools are recommended by school counselors and are selected by the camp's committee. Interested students should consult their school counselor about participation in this year's camp.
